Welcome to the Learning & Development Lab at Arizona State University!

We are scientists in developmental psychology working to better understand how young children learn about the world around them.

Some of the questions we study include:

How do children learn words?
How do children learn to pay attention to the right information in their busy environments?
How does language experience, like bilingualism, change learning and development?

We are looking for families with children ages 7 and under to sign up and participate in our research! Our lab is part of the Early Childhood Cognition Research Group, a group of developmental psychology labs that share an interest in how infants and children learn, communicate, and understand their environment.
